What Are We Charting?
Poetry
I saw another note today.
The same as always,
Ascending graphs.
10,000 subscribers earned,
With just one sentence and some laughs.
All it took was four minutes, three things,
This could be you.
I’m not jealous,
I’m not jealous.
My day is coming too.
No, I’m not jealous that I subscribed,
And spent 1,000 on a chair.
I won’t scratch my head and wonder
Why they have cheap furniture,
While I’m in debt over here.
I’ll just keep painting this room,
Cause, who needs wallpaper,
When there’s lighting in every hue?
Maybe I should have upgraded,
Bought a founding plan, or two?
Guess they have the magic.
That sprinkle and watch it grow.
Can someone on here tell me
Why my chiapet’s growing so slow?
Oh, I’ll keep decorating,
Making it cozy.
All lived in, you see.
But I’m afraid, when it’s complete,
That it will still just be me.
